Project Goals
Maximize the use of Fresh Foods, (Meats, Vegetables, Grains and others) in all food service offerings.
Maximize the On-Site Preparation in our kitchens of these Fresh Foods.
Buy, as much as available and fiscally-feasible, locally grown and produced foods.
Integrate these efforts with the District-wide Health and Wellness curriculum to provide a lifelong understanding about the relationship between eating habits and good health.
